Nicole Tan
Nicole started as an architect in 2010. She then studied interior design, graduating with top marks as the valedictorian in 2012. Shortly after, Nicole found work in a renowned architecture and design firm that values collaboration, which helped her discover her own design sensibility.
In 2015, she took the ID licensure exam while leading the interior design department and finished as one of that year’s topnotchers.
Nicole is the founding designer of Realm and prior to the pandemic, she was flying on a weekly basis from Manila to Cebu to design for an island resort and a handful of residences. She now has the privilege to work with talented designers in a modest studio setting.
While Realm is for discerning clientele that require a high-level of professionalism, she led the launch of Boon in 2020—a fully online platform that can deliver great design to smaller-scale interior requirements.
